Shifting Shapes is a Serious Artform....
....and one that I have been working in for the past 14 years.
I have spent the last few years shifting between the theatre and contemporary dance sectors.
Whether it's devising new outdoor and indoor theatre works for C-12 Dance Theatre, choreographing green screen music videos, or movement directing with producing team, Electric Light Studios or theatre company Paines Plough, I have moved through the last few years with pure intrigue and excitement.
Below are a few examples of my most recent creative projects.
You Stupid Darkness, Theatre Royal Plymouth
February 2019
Written by Sam Steiner
Directed by James Grieve
Movement by myself
Produced by Paines Plough and The Theatre Royal Plymouth
In a call centre for Brightline helpline, four volunteers spend a few hours every Tuesday night on the phone to strangers telling them everything is going to be ok. A hopeful play about the struggle for optimism and community amid the chaos of a collapsing world.
